About this video

This video assumes you are already logged into the Sketchanet editor. If you don't know how to do this, you can find out how here

When you clone a page you create an exact copy of the page. This is very useful if you need to create a number of similar pages, as having created the clone you can then easily modify the content, rather than creating the whole page from scratch.

Important Tip

When you clone a page that contains a gallery, the clone of the page will contain the exact same gallery, NOT a copy of that gallery. Hence, if you proceed to edit the gallery in the clone, don't be suprised that your changes affect the gallery in the original page. That is because you are editing the one and the same gallery.

If you want a similar gallery in the clone, you will need to delete the gallery widget from your clone, and insert a new gallery, into which you upload the new images. Note that your gallery settings can be shared, so you don't need to recreate all the gallery settings again, just choose the same gallery setting from the Gallery Setting tab when inserting your new gallery.
